WELCOME
St. Ambrose Catholic School is a Roman Catholic, co-educational, state accreditated, elementary (Pre-K-8) school serving children of families who reside primarily in Alton and Godfrey, Illinois. We are located in the Alton Deanery in the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois.

Mission
The mission of St. Ambrose Catholic School is to nurture and facilitate the growth of its children through an integrated program of faith development and academics. This is carried out daily for the approximately 34 Pre-K (three and four year olds) and 220 students attending the K-8 program at St. Ambrose.
